How do i hook up my epson projector to my surround sound

Bose TV Speaker Powered 3

Bose TV Speaker Powered 3

Don't know if this is the right section but here goes. Right, basically I have 3 inputs I wish to use, all via HDMI. These are as follows: Blu-Ray Player Xbox 360 Sky HD I wish for all of these to be connected to both the projector and a Pansonic V20 3D TV.

I just need clarification of what I will need. I believe I would need as HDMI switch box with 3 inputs and the one output to the projector. On each of the inputs would I need a splitter? One to the switch and the other to the TV for each I pressure? Also, what would be the easiest way to connect all the devices to a surround sound system and what would I need to do so? I have purchased a surround system as of yet, so feel free to suggest systems and all the items I would require!

I know it's a lot but thank you in advance! I think you will be better off buying an AV Receiver with two HDMI Outputs and at least 3 inputs. Each source feeds into the AVR and then you have one output how do i hook up my epson projector to my surround sound each of the projector and TV, you can then switch between source and monitor depending on use.

If you find an AVR with the ability to pass through the signal via HDMI, then you can also use the TV without recourse to the full surround sound system if you don't want it. If you give us an idea of a budget, I am sure there will be plenty of people who will be able to recommend specific set-ups. But, if you are new to all this, why not have a look at the Richer Sounds website - they have some ready-made set-ups that would be good places to start.

But, ultimately, I would go with an AVR because it will give you more features and be less messy that using a switch box. And a projector is very unlikely to carry sound and those that do aren't greatso you will need to go with some sort of sound system anyway. Its the LG SR906, and it does have 3 HDMI Inputs. Now I understand I can connect the sound via HDMI, but how? And the Sky HD and Blu Ray devices only have one HDMI output?

Quite new to all of this, so would love help! Regards Hi again, I have set up surround sound now, I have connected all the inputs to the HDMI ports on the AV receiver, with the splitter on the OUTPUT to the TV and Projector. Now I was wondering is there anyway of changin the volume using the TV remote?

As I want to use my actual tv volume as the surround sound volume?
